CEO of the Chartered Insurance institute, Matthew Hill, visited the professional body’s DIFC office recently to meet with some of the UAE’s key stakeholders.
Matthew, who resides at the CII’s headquarters in London, met with Tazeen Munir, Vice President of DIFC Academy to discuss future plans for further effective collaboration and to learn more about the Academy’s ambitions for harnessing and nurturing talent in the region. He also held discussions with Mohammed Ali, Chief Learning Officer and Marwan Almheiri, CEO of Emirates Institute of Finance, with whom the CII has enjoyed close collaboration over several years, providing Certificate qualifications for professionals in the insurance and financial planning sectors. He also held a meeting with the CEO of Dubai Financial Services Authority, Mark Steward, where the focus was on how the CII can further its support of the region’s talent development objectives.

CII’s IPPF Accreditation Programme Welcomed by DIFC Corporates
The UAE boasts the largest number of corporates in the region who have been officially recognised by the CII as International Professional Partner firms (IPPFs) These are organisations that show unwavering commitment to supporting their employee’s career development.
