We are very happy to announce our AILO (Association of International Life Offices) as a affiliate members of the DIFC Insurance Association.
AILO is a unique trade organisation, representing and promoting the cross-border life insurance and wealth management industry. AILO was formed in 1987 by several companies providing insurance and investment services in many areas of the world.
The founding Members recognised the vast potential of the international opportunity and its parallel development in the European Single Market, as well as the need for the emerging industry to have a framework of communication, standards and representation.
Bob Pain, CEO of AILO commented “ AILO is delighted to add the DIFC Insurance Association as one of our Affiliate Members. Many of our Members see Dubai and the Middle East as a key area for their business or are looking to establish a presence in that part of the world so it makes sense for us to work together with the trade body on the ground there. I welcome a long and lasting business partnership for the benefit of both memberships”.
Simon S. Price, CEO of the DIFCIA, expressed, “Our shared objective is to enhance advocacy and influence on behalf of our members. By establishing this partnership with AILO, we will broaden our network to include other global marketplaces and provide valuable support to our mutual members.”
